Terms of Use

This page is being finalised. The full version is currently under review. If you need any of this information in the meantime, please contact us at pickup@interrail-europe.de.

1. Scope

This portal is operated by InterRail Europe GmbH for business customers to look up containers held in our depots, obtain an estimate of the storage charges and request a pick-up. Using it means accepting these terms. They govern the use of the portal only; they do not replace or amend the transport, handling or storage contract between you and InterRail Europe GmbH.

2. Access

A container can be looked up with its container number and the security code issued for it. Treat that code as confidential and pass it only to people entitled to collect the container. Automated querying of the portal is not permitted; we limit the rate of failed attempts and may block access when the service is being probed.

3. The information you enter

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you submit. We act on it — a wrong pick-up date changes the charge, wrong transport details can prevent the release of the container at the terminal.

4. Driver details

For containers at the Malaszewicze terminal the portal asks for the name and phone number of the truck driver and the vehicle registration plates. Those are another person's personal data. Before you enter them you must be authorised to pass them on, and you must inform the driver that they will be used to arrange the pick-up. We provide the text for that purpose — the Privacy Information for Truck Drivers — for you to hand on. You confirm both points when you submit a request.

5. Charges shown in the portal

The amount displayed is a non-binding estimate, calculated from the tariff on file and the pick-up date you enter. It is not an invoice. The amount finally payable is determined and invoiced by InterRail Europe GmbH, and changes if the container is collected on another date. Submitting a request does not by itself release the container.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the portal available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation; maintenance and faults may interrupt it. If it is unavailable, contact us at pickup@interrail-europe.de.

7. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time you submit a request.

8. Data protection

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
